The 2017 Author’s Talk focused on stories of diversity. The writers, who came from across Nigeria had a dialogue on the effect of a single story, the interconnectedness in the different experiences of writers from different backgrounds, the challenges confronted by emerging voices, cultural barriers, sexuality and the function of genres in story development.
