Curbing Teenage Pregnancy Through Life-Skill Empowerment

In rural communities across Kogi State, Nigeria, 2 out of every 10 girls are pregnant before the age of 18 due to lack of proper sex education, extreme poverty, gender inequality and unemployment. ICON North Central volunteer, Ibitoye, created an intervention: a sex education workshop and a skill development class training for girls from various schools in Kabba community.
