International Day of the Girl Child 2017: Empower Girls

This year’s International Day of the Girl Child ‘Empower Girls,’ was a #TalkTheWalk event commemorated by the global ICON. Volunteers in the US, and coordinators across Africa supported the campaign by promoting the importance of gender equality and human rights for girls and women across the world.
