Kano: Training Women in Technology Entrepreneurship

While it seems like the world of technology entrepreneurship is largely dominated by men, like Bill Gate, Steve Jobs, Mark Zukerberg, and Drosey, it has become crucial to examine the education of girls in technology entrepreneurship. For this reason, an ICON volunteer, Musa Umar, implemented a pilot stage ICT training program for 70 girls in the Kura Local Government Area of Kano State, Nigeria.

The girls acquired the knowledge and abilities in information communication technology (ICT) as well as its business aspect.
Following the session, Musa gave each girl a certificate to attest to their proficiency. He encouraged them to take advantage of their skills to the fullest extent possible.
